Catholic Memorial High School (MA) 2016 defenseman Eoin Hurley has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Hobart College.

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose Hobart? “I chose Hobart for its strong academic courses along with its small class sizes which I feel will be a good fit for me. I feel like Hobart will help me excel as a student and athlete, and I feel that I can be a leader at this school. From the first time I stepped foot on campus I knew it was the place I wanted to be.”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? ” With a full returning attack and defense we are strong on both sides of the field. Our coaches Kevin and Dennis Lynch push us hard every day at practice so that we can be ready for anything thrown our way and with the talented and hardworking team that we have I do think that we will make a statement in the conference.”

Thank You: “I would like to thank my Laxachusetts coaches Sean Morris and Dave Evans for their efforts and time with me through the long recruiting process and for pushing me to my limits on the lacrosse field. My coach Kevin Orcutt of Hawks Lacrosse for giving me the opportunity to play for him and transforming me into the lacrosse player I am today. My other youth coaches that influenced me and directed me to become a lacrosse player.
