Calvert Hall (MD) junior attackman-midfielder Andrew Fanshaw has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Vermont.

Club Affiliations: Maryland Lacrosse Club (MLC) and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
Major lacrosse honors: FCA U-15 National team, Freestate All-Star team (2014’s), Nike Blue Chip 2014
Service Projects: Currently volunteering at Maples of Towson. Started the Stars and Stripes Club at Calvert Hall, and a Junior Captain for the FCA huddle at Calvert Hall.
What will you major in/study? Undecided; Education, Business, Pre-law
Why did you choose Vermont? “I chose Vermont because it was the right size and had everything I was looking for. I extremely liked the city of Burlington and all of the different activities that the school offers. The coaching staff is very nice and they seem very passionate about the program.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We are getting ready for the season. We have a tough schedule and looking forward to the challenge. We have a lot of returners including myself who are looking to making it to the playoffs and making another Championship run.”
