April 20, 2023 – Winchester VA – 2024 recruit, Bekka Smith commits to playing division II lacrosse at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise. The Cavaliers are gaining a member of the National Honor Society off the field, and has skill in both defense and attack on the field.

Why did you choose this school? “As I began to look for colleges I knew I was looking for one that was located in a more rural area that wasn’t very big and I wanted coaches who made me feel at home and team that was welcoming. UVA Wise met those requirements and more.”

Who do you wish to thank? “I want to thank my mom, dad, and sister for always supporting me and my coaches and trainers for pushing me to my limit.”
