9/18/23 – DENVER, PA

Cole Barnes, ’24 Midfielder and Face-Off Specialist, has decided to continue his academic and athletic career at Iona University. Barnes, a senior at Cocalico High School, was named a USA Lacrosse All-American, All-Star 1st Team Face-off Specialist, Legends Fast Break All-Tournament Team, and was named the 6th ranked FOGO in Pennsylvania (Inside Lacrosse). Barnes also won the USMC Athletic/Leadership Award. At CHS, Barnes currently holds a 3.65 GPA. Prior to his commitment, Barnes played with Team Money Lacrosse Club’s 2024 Team.

Why did you choose Iona? – “I choose Iona University because they have the academic/business major I am interested in. The location to be able to have outstanding internships during my 4 years. As well as the lacrosse coaching staff that has been positive and encouraging.” (Barnes)
