7/23/23 – Chester Springs, PA – Philadelphia Freedom midfielder Ryan Traynor has chosen to continue his athletic career at Christopher Newport University. Traynor is an Apex 60 all-star and an ECD All-American. He has been a mainstay Malvern Prep’s varsity team since his sophomore year. Traynor heads to Christopher Newport still deciding on a major.

Why did you choose Christopher Newport? – “I chose Christopher Newport, because of the high level lacrosse. I also just chose CNU because of the academic side of the school! CNU is in a great spot in Newport News, Virginia. The size of the school was exactly what I was looking for!”

Who do you wish to thank? – “I want to thank my mom and my dad for all of the sacrifices they have made. I want to thank all of my coaches for pushing me and giving me opportunities to play in front of all of these schools, and all of my teammates!”
