Bridgewater-Raritan (N.J.) 2017 goalie Arielle Weissman has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Michigan.

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose school? “I chose the University of Michigan because I was blown away from the second I stepped foot on campus. There was something about the Michigan pride; the atmosphere contained that was irresistible. The amazing academics, beautiful facilities and over all welcoming feeling of the campus and coaches was exactly what I wanted. Plus. I am a huge hockey fan and nothing is better than Michigan Hockey.”

Outlook for your High School team? “This year, coming off a very successful season in 2014, should be exciting. This past season we started six freshmen and made a name for ourselves. I feel this year, now having the experience, we have the skill to win States, and we expect nothing less of ourselves.”
