Expected Major: Biology

Why did you choose Wingate? “They are the complete package. From the classroom to the lacrosse field everything there was the right fit for me and I am really looking forward to my next four years as a Bulldog.”

HS team’s outlook for 2018 season? “This past season we lost 12 seniors so we are looking to rebuild and set the tone for the next generation of Durant lacrosse, while keeping our level of play as high as possible.”

Thank You: “There have been many people that have helped me out along the way, but four people stand out when I think of people to thank. First off, my mom and dad. They made a lot of sacrifices, time as well as money, to help me succeed in my efforts to get recruited and I cannot express my appreciation enough.

“Second, Brian Lemon. He was my first coach ever and gave me a passion and competitiveness for the game of lacrosse and was a big help as I learned the fundamentals of lacrosse.

“Last, but not least, would be Coach Chris Burdick. Without his coaching and guidance I would not be half the player I am today. He has taught me the goalie position from a technical perspective and it has made a world of difference.”
