Why did you choose this school? “I began really looking into schools early in my junior year. After attending various camps with the Georgetown Tigers’ lacrosse team I began to catch interest in the dedication and love for the game each player showed. After going on an overnight visit at Georgetown College I quickly fell in love with the welcoming team, personal academic environment, and the passion for lacrosse shared between the players and coaches alike.”
HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “Last year being our first year having a High School girls’ lacrosse team, we finished the season on a single win. This season has been a total turn around. Our team has found common ground and created real competition for all of our competitors. We are currently on a 5-2 winning streak and have just one our first match against South Oldham High School in the Braveheart Tournament.”
People to thank: “Of course, God is my most important supporter. I pray before, during, and after each game because I couldn’t do any of this on my own. Thank you to my parents for coming to all of my games, financially supporting everything I do in lacrosse, and pushing me to become my best; also to my high school coaches, Jimmy Conklin and Saundra Miller for having hope in us and building our team from the ground up.”
