High School: Niskayuna High School, Schenectady, N.Y. (north of Albany)

Graduation Year: 2016

Major lacrosse honors, Camps, Showcases: Maverick show time all star, Section 2 second team All-star 2012, section 2 first team All star 2013, Inside Lacrosse’s player to watch, Times Union Best Goalie in Section 2 in 2012, Max Exposure Lacrosse Camp 2013, Syracuse Lacrosse camp 2012 + 2013

What will you major in/study? Early Childhood Education

Why did you choose the school? “Syracuse has been my dream since I picked up a lacrosse stick. I’m extremely excited I will be able to be taught from Coach Gait, Coach Thorpe, and Coach Rowan. The lacrosse atmosphere at Syracuse is very welcoming and a lot of people care for it there – which is also a large reason why I chose to play for the Orange.”

What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “My past two varsity seasons we ended a game short of the section finals. My outlook on the rest of my high school career is we (hope) to win the section once or twice in the next three years. My team is a very young team and once we all are developed as players we will win.”

Thank You: “Thank you to my family for always pushing me and helping me reach my dream to play at Syracuse. Another thank you to my teammates for always giving their all and my town, Niskayuna, for being such a large lacrosse community.”

Other school considered: UNC, Virginia,
