Coaches Comments: “A recent decision to reclassify has Lampert poised to step into an already loaded DI 2020 Clam attack group. The younger brother of Hobart junior attackman Jimmy Lampert, Michael is forging his own path that saw Wayland HS rise to arguably their best season in program history, with Michael earning EMass All-American honors in 2018. An extremely athletic and quick field general, Lampert can beat you with speed and toughness carrying from X and the wing. His vision has developed to the point where he’s truly a deadly feeder, which is evident by his 58 assists for the Warriors in 2018. And given the composition of the Fighting Clam 2020 attack unit he’ll be joining, a feed-first attackman will likely be a very welcome addition, as most of the best ’20’s are at their core shoot-first guys. With 105 total points last spring (47g,58a), Michael is on pace to finish with well over 300 points during his career, a special feat for this complete attackman. Our coaches can’t wait to see Michael play with the ’20’s this fall. We believe he’ll immediately make us better, and that his fellow Clam attackmen will make him better too.”
