The TopLaxRecruits Mid-Atlantic Girls’ Rankings
1. McDonogh School (MD) 8-0
The Eagles continue to win, beating Notre Dame Prep, Mt. Hebron, Mount De Sales, and Garrison Forest last week. They take on John Carroll, Bishop Ireton, and Severn School all this week.
2. Good Counsel (MD) 6-0
The Falcons defeated St. Agnes & St. Stephens along with Georgetown Visitation at the Spring Fling, followed by a win against Bishop O’Connell. They’re at WCAC rival Bishop Ireton today, followed by another tough road game at the Checking For Cancer Invitational at Agnes Irwin.
3. West Islip (NY) 4-0
The Lions defeated Half Hollow Hills and Smithtown East. They’ll take on North Babylon, and Harborfields in action coming up.
4. Summit (NJ) 3-0
The Hilltoppers defeated West Morris Central and Montclair HS to improve to 3-0 on the early season. They’ll play Smithtown West, Oak Knoll School, and Kent Place later this week.
5. Manhasset (NY) 4-0
The Indians defeated St. Paul’s (MD), Farmingdale and Syosset.
6. Mt. Sinai (NY) 4-0
The Mustangs defeated East Islip and West Babylon in action last week. They’ll take on Westhampton, Wantagh, and Huntington this week.
7. Eastport-South Manor (NY) 4-0
The Sharks breezed by Islip and Consewogue in two games last week. They’ll take on Greenport/Southold/Mattituck, Bayport-Blue Point, and Miller Place in games this week.
8. Oak Knoll (NJ) 1-0
The Royals opened up the season with a 19-14 win over Westfield last week. They’re at Madison today, followed by a big game at Summit, and then against West Morris Central.
9. Ridgewood (NJ) 2-0
The Maroons keep the scoring up, scoring 23 goals against Indian Hills last week after scoring 20 against West Essex. They’ll take on a big early season test Saturday at Moorestown, followed by Mountain Lakes and Glen Ridge.
10. Moorestown (NJ) 4-0
The Quakers gave coach Deann aKnobloch her 500th career win Wednesday in a 15-3 win over Clearview. They host Ridgewood Saturday in a clash of ranked teams.
