TopLaxRecruits.com North America Girls’ Rankings: Long Island teams move up

Long Island teams took several steps forward into the rankings this week.

Mt. Sinai (5-0) moves into the No. 11 spot with an 8-6 victory over previously-undefeated Sayville. Ward Melville (6-1) also moves into the rankings at No. 18 as it defeated previously-unbeaten Northport, 9-8, and then Hauppauge, 12-8.

No. 4 Garden City (6-0) remained unbeaten with a 10-9 overtime victory over No. 13 Manhasset, which suffered its first loss. No. 7 Bay Shore is still unbeaten at 5-0 as it toppled West Islip, 9-5.

St. Anthony’s moved up six spots to No. 12 by handling No. 14 Bryn Mawr, 5-3. Sayville rebounded with a 12-5 win over Shoreham-Wading River and Farmingdale (4-0) remained undefeated at No. 20.
