Two-time Massachusetts defending state champion Westwood (22-0) remains one of the only four undefeated teams in the TopLaxRecruits.com Rankings.

The Wolverines – who have won 34 straight games – are the top -seeded team in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Division I South Tournament and opened with an 18-3 rout of Weymouth and a 16-4 conquest of Walpole on Friday night.

Sophomore Brooke Troy led Westwood with four goals while junior Ela Hazar (North Carolina commit) added three goals and two assists.

The Wolverines play Franklin tonight in the semifinals at their home stadium, Flahive Field at 7 p.m.

Loyola wins 5th straight Illinois state title

Loyola (22-3) defeated Montini, 16-5, Friday to win its fifth straight Illinois state championship and ninth overall at Glenbrook South.

Senior Katherine Eilers had four goals and two assists as the Ramblers bolted to an 8-1 halftime lead and were never threatened.
