Talented 2025 recruit, Mackenzie Borbi, has decided to continue her athletic and academic career at Syracuse University. Borbi has racked up athletic accolades, including: #23 overall 2025 recruit (Lacrosse Magazine), 2023 All-American, First Team All-Conference in 2023, as well as Olympic Conference Player of the Year in 2023. Borbi also led her team at Shawnee High School to a Group III Sectional Championship in 2023. Prior to her commitment to Syracuse, Borbi played with All-American Aim Lacrosse Club.

Why did you choose Cuse? – “I chose this school because once I visited the campus and met the coaches face to face, I knew it was where I wanted to spend my next 4 years.” (Borbi)
Who do you wish to thank? – “I wish to thank my coaches, my highschool and club team, and especially Coach Katie. Coach Katie has changed me so much as a player, and most importantly a human. I would also like to thank my family members for being so supportive; I knew wherever I ended up, they would’ve supported me.” (Borbi)
