Sadie Kauffman, standout 2024 midfielder and draw specialist, has decided to continue her academic and athletic career at East Stroudsburg University. The talented recruit was named the Offensive MVP her junior year at Stephen Decatur High School. Kauffman was also named to the Bayside All-Conference team all 3 years for SDHS’s varsity team. Prior to her committeemen to ESU, Kauffman played with M&D ‘Black Shore’ Lacrosse Club.
Why did you choose ESU? – “When visiting the school after they recruited me, I loved the team bond and the family feel. I also feel they will bring me to an even better level of play.” (Kauffman)
Who do you wish to thank? – “First and foremost I want to thank my parents and especially my mother. Also my coaches who pushed me to be the best player I can be. LB who started working with me in 6th grade and teaching me the ultimate draw control. My friends and teammates who I started playing with at 4 because it takes all of us to be successful. And of course the Lord for his daily strength.” (Kauffman)
