Saint Benedicts Catholic Secondary School (Ontario, Canada) senior midfielder Luke Henderson has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Bellarmine University.

Academic honors and service projects: Honor Roll every year throughout High School career, Coaching and mentoring minor lacrosse players in my hometown of Cambridge in box lacrosse.
What will you major in/study? “I wish to take Environmental Studies and later narrow my studies down to Anthropology or Geology at Bellarmine.”
Why did you choose Bellarmine? “I chose Bellarmine because of the small close knit feel it has, just like my hometown. Everyone knows each other and everyone feels close. I felt the same vibe when I was down at Bellarmine which I feel will be a very easy transition to make.
“With a smaller school, it offers smaller class sizes and I feel that will give me better learning opportunities as opposed to larger class sizes.
“Finally, the quality of lacrosse. The program is heading in the right direction and I definitely want to be a contributing factor on the lacrosse field in the future.”
What are your thoughts on this past season/team’s outlook for next season? “I thought my Edge team had a really strong fall season lasts year. We put together a few great games and ended up getting some good wins. I felt the team really came together in the two tournaments we played in and got a good feel for each others playing style.
“The whole team is looking forward to a very competitive fall season this year which is approaching quickly, I feel we are going to be even stronger and everyone is ready to get things started.”
