Gonzaga (D.C.) junior attackman Timmy Monahan has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at The Ohio State University.

What will you major in/study? Undecided as of right now

Why did you choose the school? “When I visited Ohio State this summer, the coaching staff along with head coach Nick Myers were all extremely nice to me. The University had everything to offer with one of the nation’s top athletic programs, unreal facilities, and great academics. I loved everything about the school and the lacrosse program.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for the 2014 season? We lost around 20 of our seniors, nine of which were starters. However, we have a very strong junior class as well as a senior class, so I think we will be a very hard team to beat again this year.”
