Blessed Trinity Catholic High School (GA) senior attackman Tom Nofi has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Virginia Military Institute.
Tom Nofi ledger:
High School: Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, Roswell, Georgia
Graduation Year: 2014
Position: Attack
College Choice: VMI
Club Affiliation: LB3
Major lacrosse honors: Southeastern Showcase All-Star, Southern Select All-Star, Offensive MVP
Service Projects: Summer Lacrosse Camp Counselor, Multiple Sclerosis Walk-Team Captain, Blessed Trinity Spiritual Retreat Leader
What will you major in/study? International Studies
Why did you choose VMI? “I chose VMI because I did not want just an ordinary college experience. VMI is demanding both on and off of the field. I also felt that I was a part of the family there, and when we talked about the future goals for the program, everyone was on the same page.”
What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “This past High School season our team finished with a tough loss to Decautur High School. That was pretty crushing blow, and I know that all of the guys have let that feeling sit with them. I know this season we are ready to finish where we left off of last year, and aim for a State Championship.”
Thank You: “I really would like to thank Liam Banks for bringing LB3 to Georgia, and for being a tremendous coach. I honestly would not be half of the player I am today without him. He has helped me so much throughout this recruiting process.”
