The National Invitational 175 just launched two fall boys’ lacrosse showcases…why might you care?
The events are being held on Nov. 10 in Connecticut and No. 26 on Long Island.
High school players in the classes of 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 seeking to get recruited may want to seriously consider these two showcases. The previous four National Invitational showcases have sold out with big waitlists and have drawn rave reviews from participants (see below) and coaches.
Directors said that each of these showcases are expected to see overall demand far exceeding spots available and the competition level will likely be very high. Event directors said they consider it keenly important to maintain the quality of each showcase and will not expand the numbers (approximately 175) for each grade.
Directors have moved up the application deadline from Sept 1st to August 18th and invites will be sent between August 25th-Sept 1.
Below are links for players interested in attending the National Invitational 175 Fall showcases to apply for an invitation:
Sunday, November 10th, 2013 in Connecticut (site to be announced).
Tuesday, November 26th, 2013 at Mitchell Fields on Long Island.
Comments from participants from the recent 175 Showcase at RPI:
“Just a quick note to let you know how great the 175 showcase was. There were a ton of college coaches there watching all the games, and the players were excellent.” – Matthew Huber, St. Anthony’s High School Long Island Express 2015
“I play for NJ Riot 2016 and my goal is to play at a high College level. I was invited and attended both Jake Reed Nike Blue Chip and National Invite 175 this summer. Both events had great competition and a ton of College Coaches both watching games and walking around. I hope that I will be invited back to both Camps in the future.” -Jake Southren 2016 Randolph HS, NJ Riot 2016
