One of the most popular features of the annual US Lacrosse Convention is Fan Fest and it’s back for the virtual 2021 LaxCon. The all-online event takes place from Jan. 15-16.
Fan Fest provides access to the 2021 “Special Edition” track sessions, access to the online Exhibitor Hall and will receive a virtual event bag with exclusive offers for convention attendees. The cost is just $10 for US Lacrosse members ($25 for non-members) through Jan. 3. The rates will rise $5 after that date.
The “Special Edition” track further ignites LaxCon’s 2021 theme of “Represent your community. Reimagine the way we play. Reignite your love of lacrosse.” Sessions in this track will focus on topics such as diversity, equity & inclusion, sports business, return to play, sports psychology and other trending topics. Among the speakers for this track are U.S. women’s team gold-medal winner Alex Aust, Virginia Tech goalie Angie Benson, Team Mexico’s Daniela Eppler, PLL star Jules Heningburg and Irqouois Nationals leaders and professional lacrosse players Jeremy & Lyle Thompson.
In addition to the regular Fan Fest, US Lacrosse members can upgrade to include a small-group online clinic with Team USA stars for just an additional $10. Sessions with the following players are available: Dempsey Arsenault, Trevor Baptiste, Taylor Cummings, Meg Douty, Matt Dunn, Liz Hogan, Marcus Holman, Alice Mercer, Joe Nardella and Brian Phipps.
