Nike-US Lacrosse Boys’ Rankings: Boys’ Latin (MD) continues as No. 1 team

Unbeaten Boys’ Latin (Md.) remains the unanimous No. 1-ranked team in the Nike/US Lacrosse High School Boys’ Lacrosse Top 25 poll, released today by US Lacrosse. The poll appears as part of Lacrosse Magazine’s bi-weekly report on high school boys’ lacrosse at laxmagazine.com/hsb25.

The Lakers are 18-0 overall and face No. 20 Calvert Hall in Tuesday’s Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association semifinals. Ward Melville (N.Y.) has won all four games since the April 30 poll and jumps to the No. 2 spot with a 16-0 overall record. No. 3 Gonzaga (D.C.) won its fourth-straight Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championship on Monday, improving its record to 19-2.

Overall, 34 teams received votes in this week’s rankings and only three points separate No. 25 from No. 29.

The Nike/US Lacrosse High School Boys’ Lacrosse National Top 25, with teams, record, point total (first-place votes) and next game noted:
