Standout 2024 recruit, Marvin Johnson Jr., has decided to further his academic and athletic career at St. Bonaventure University. Johnson Jr., a senior at Spire Institute Academy, was named an All-State Midfielder this past season. Prior to committing to St. Bonaventure, Johnson Jr. played with Texas Legacy Lacrosse Club.
Why did you choose St. Bonaventure? – “I loved the coaches and when I just set foot on campus I felt a warm welcoming and i know that St. Bonaventure is the place for me.” (Johnson Jr.)
Who do you wish to thank? – “Firstly, I would like to thank God for all that he has done for me throughout my entire life. Secondly, I would like to thank my brother for always pushing me to be the best version of myself on and off the field. Lastly, I would like to thank Coaches Nick, Harkey, OJ, Alex, Matt, Smith, Kyle, Nak, and Keith for all they have done and continue to do.” (Johnson Jr.)
