Why did you choose Gardner-Webb, Women’s D1? “I chose Gardner-Webb because of the strong family feel and amazing academics and athletics they offer. After talking to Coach Jessie (Aguglia) for the first time, I immediately felt at home and knew that GWU was the place for me. She connected me with current players and fellow recruits and without hesitation they gave me everything I needed to make my decision while making me feel like a bulldog right away as well. The smaller population and nursing major they offer definitely contributed to my decision, as well as the beautiful campus and athletic facilities. Coach Jessie and the rest of the coaching staff knew how important it was that I could understand and grasp the dynamic of the campus since I couldn’t get down there to tour it due to COVID, which they gave me every single resource I could possibly need and ask for.

They wanted to go on my timeline and for me to not feel rushed, which made me feel so welcomed and wanted. I love Gardner-Webb and it is the best decision I could have ever made for my current and future life as a lacrosse player and student.”
