Why did you choose Florida Institute of Technology, Women’s D2? “At the start of September 1st, I wanted to commit and play at a D1 school. Throughout my recruiting process and the more I talked with coaches, teammates, and my family, I came to the conclusion that D2 would be more realistic for what I wanted out of my college experience. I wanted free time, along with being able to play lacrosse, and a D2 program was ideal for that. I knew I would have more opportunities to play as either a freshman or sophomore, and knew that I would be able to manage my time better with school and lacrosse, and still make time to do the things I want if I decided to play at a D2 school. I wanted to stick to the SSC (Sunshine State Conference) because I was looking to play somewhere where the weather was going to be relatively warm almost all year round- Florida Tech was perfect for that. It checked off all of the boxes locationally, academically, and gave me the chance to play lacrosse too.”
Is there anything else you would like to share? “I want to thank all of my coaches, teammates, family, and friends.”
What other colleges did you consider? Arizona State University, University of Tampa, Belmont Abbey College
