Why did you choose University of North Carolina, Women’s D1? “It is an honor to be able to play for the University of North Carolina’s legendary coaches, Jenny Levy and Phil Barnes. UNC is a place that will push me and challenge me to develop to my potential and is an excellent academic institution. After speaking with the current players, I could see how much they love being a Tar Heel and how they are a family, which is important to me. UNC Women’s Lacrosse has an incredible team culture and winning tradition that I am beyond excited to be joining.”
Is there anything else you would like to share? “I want thank my high school coach and mentor, Lorraine Beers, who inspired my love of the game and taught me the importance of putting in the work on and off the field everyday. I would not be where I am today without Coach Beers or my Phantastix team coach, Jessica Lake, who pushes me at practice and at my tournaments and has guided me through the recruiting process. Thank you to my sister, Peyton, who is always willing to practice with me and has shown me what it takes to play D1 lacrosse. I am grateful to my parents for their love and support. Finally, thank you to Coach Levy and Coach Barnes for giving me the tremendous opportunity to be a part of your program. I can’t wait to wear Carolina Blue! Go Heels!”
