Walt Whitman (N.Y.) senior defenseman Alex Remstein has signed a National Letter of Intent to play Division I lacrosse at Furman University.

The 5-10, 195-pound Remstein is a three year starter with a 3.6 GPA. Remstein is also affiliated with the Long Island Outlaw Club Lacrosse Team.
“I can’t say enough about Alex,” said Walt Whitman coach Bob Howell. “He is a very skilled lacrosse player with an outstanding lacrosse IQ. He is a fundamentally and mechanically sound player both when he is breaking down his attackman and also when he is clearing the ball. He is the player who we will match up with the other team’s best attackman.”
