What will you major in/study? Double major in Biology and Psychology/Pre-Med track

Why did you choose John Carroll? “I chose John Carroll because it is a good fit for me both academically and athletically. I will be able to play lacrosse, get a great education, and still be able to follow a Pre-Medical track. I was drawn to JCU’s great reputation as a school, Coach (Brian) Small’s and the rest of the coaching staff’s enthusiasm and drive to create a competitive program within the NCAA. I thought it would be pretty cool to be apart of a brand new program.”

HS team’s outlook for the season? “Our team is rather young, so there will need to be a lot of leadership from our four seniors. The returning sophomores are going to have to pull more weight than the average underclassman. I believe that we will have a pretty competitive team, but a lot of extra work is going to have to be put in to get everyone up to the level they need to be at for a varsity lacrosse season.”

Thank You: “There are many people that I need to thank for helping me achieve this accomplishment. First, and for most are my parents, they are the reason that I put in the time to become the player I am today. Not only that, but they have pushed me to be the best I can in school and as a person as well. Oh… and I can’t forget to thank them for driving me to my tournaments every weekend, my camps, and practices.

“I would also like to thank all of the coaches that I have had over the years Coach Pound, Coach Scott, Coach Pratt, Coach Chapman, Coach Bednarz, Coach Myers, and last but not least my Dad who has been my coach since 4th grade.

“Lastly, I would like say a special thanks to Sean McNamara, who runs FCA Northeast, for making FCA a competitive program that has helped mef and others be recruited by colleges.”

Other schools considered: Susquehanna, Siena, Colgate, Hofstra, Hamilton
