The Evangelical Christian (TN) boys’ lacrosse team improved to 8-0 by winning three games this weekend in Murfreesboro.
The Eagles (@ECSLax) are in their fourth year of varsity play and won five games in their first three seasons. But this year they have won two one-goal games and then erupted on the offensive board this weekend. On Friday, ECS defeated The Webb School Bell Buckle, 22-8, as Logan Saunders had five goals and Logan Saunders added four assists.
ECS defeated Nashville Metro Lax, 15-7, on Saturday as Tyler Jacks poured in seven goals and Saunders had three assists. Caleb Person led a solid defense. Also Saturday, ECS defeated Murfreesboro, 14-5, as Nick Genereaux tallied four goals and Tyler Jacks added two assists.

In a key inter-state game, McCallie (TN) downed defending Alabama state champion Hoover, 10-6, on Friday to open its season. McCallie also blanked University School Nashville (TN), 12-0 and Brentwood LC (TN), 9-3 to close the busy weekend on Saturday.
Braiden Davis led the McCallie attack by scoring with three goals in each game while Tyler Wilks tallied six in the weekend. McCallie goalie Tate Boyce won all three games, posting 21 saves while allowing five goals.
From Texas: Dallas Jesuit (5-0) won a battle Saturday of unbeaten in a 13-6 victory over Coppell (6-1).
