Vero Beach (Fla.) sophomore midfield-attack Hannah Pridemore has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Florida.
Hannah Pridemore ledger:

High school: Vero Beach, Fla.
Graduation year: 2015
Position: Midfield/Attack
College choice: Florida
Club affiliation: TLC
Major lacrosse honors, camps and showcases: Under Armour Underclass All- American South team, All South Florida, Elite 120, Maverick Showtime National Elite invite, helped Vero Beach win its 7th consecutive state championship this past spring.
What will you major in/study: Undecided
Why did you choose school: After having the opportunity to visit many schools with my older brother Ben (Boys’ Latin, Sr. / Notre Dame) and older sister Katy (Vero Beach, Jr. / Florida) during their recruiting process, I was able to see several schools over the last 2 years. When it was time for me to start the process, I was able to make up my mind fairly quickly. Florida had everything I was looking for in academics, great coaches, facilities, college life and weather. It will also be fun to keep playing with my sister after high school.”
Outlook for your high school team: “We will be pretty young after having graduated a good Senior class, but we have a great group of girls who want to continue the success Vero has had in the past. We have another very tough out-of-state schedule and, hopefully, we can win our 8th straight Florida state championship.”
Thank Yous: “I am always thankful to God for giving me the opportunities I have had so far in life. I am also thankful for my parents who have helped my brothers and sisters and me achieve our goals, not only on the field, but in life as well. I also want to thank my great coaches at Vero Beach and TLC that continue to help me improve as a player and teammate.
“Our family moved from Baltimore to Vero Beach, FL., last year. My sister and I attended NDP. My brother still lives in Baltimore, attends Boys’ Latin, and will play for Notre Dame next fall.”
