Why did you choose the school? “Navy is an incredible school with top-notch facilities. Coach (Cindy) Timchal and the rest of the coaching staff are phenomenal. With all of that championship experience on one staff, Navy Women’s lacrosse has nowhere to go but up! To be a D1 athlete is such an accomplishment, to be a D1 athlete while training to serve your country and be apart of something so much bigger is an option I just couldn’t pass up. After only meeting just a few players I already felt such a strong connection.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “We are looking to win our first ever ISL championship! We are a young team, but I believe that if we work hard it will pay off in the end. We are very excited to go to Disney for spring break!”
Thank Yous: “I would like to thank my parents for all of the driving, flying, camps, and tournaments. My high school coach, Katie Lamade. You are always know when something is up. My goalie coach, Meg Huether. I am so lucky to be coached by my role model. My club coaches Jen and Amanda. A special thank you to Coach Timchal and Coach Fondale, for giving me such a special opportunity.”
