St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School (VA) junior midfielder Olivia Mikkelson has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Notre Dame.

Why did you choose Notre Dame? “Notre Dame has everything I am looking for in a college. They have such a strong academic program, alumni, and athletics. I really enjoy the closed campus and size of the school—the campus is so beautiful and I believe it is a perfect fit.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “The lacrosse program, under Coach Kathy Jenkins, always has the outlook for a strong season because of the coaching staff’s methods of teaching and the team’s dedication to the sport.”
