What will you major in/study? Business
Why did you choose UVA? “I chose the University of Virginia because I fell in love with the campus, the program and the coaches. The academics are excellent and they have a long standing high quality lacrosse program that fits my style. I am beyond excited to play as a Cavalier!”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “After losing a very strong class of seniors from 2012 we still have a great core of talented juniors and one remaining senior. Many of our players have already committed to play D1. We are looking to re-claim the League and District Titles for the fifth time in a row and winning a State Championship is always our main goal.”
Thank You: “I would love to thank Tom Newell, who helped me begin my lacrosse career in middle school. Also thanks to my high school and club coach Mark Pinkerton, who has taught me so much, continues to set the bar for excellence, and has helped with my recruiting process from start to finish.
“A special thanks to my teammates and my captains (Molly Hendrick, Toni Yuko, Maddie Eberly, and Gabby Cardina) who have been such a great group of girls to play with! But the real, huge thank you is to my parents and sister Elizabeth. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me and getting me to where I am today.”
