Huntington (N.Y.) sophomore midfielder Alyssa Amorison has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at The Ohio State University.

What will you major in/study? Occupational Therapy
Why did you choose the school? “The Ohio State offers exactly what I want to major in. There is always something going on at the University to keep busy, it has such a great atmosphere. I knew right when I stepped onto campus I wanted to go there. When I stepped onto the field the girls play on, I looked over at my dad and said to him “This is where I see myself.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “My high school team is looking extremely powerful, we have a lot of new faces trying out with great skills. I believe our new varsity head coach Kathy Wright, will lead our team to playoffs and hopefully the championship!”
