What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose school? “The second I stepped on campus at BC I knew that’s where I wanted to go to college. I knew I wanted to go to a program that was on the rise, like the one at Boston College. Also, the campus is beautiful, the academics are incredible, and the City of Boston has so much to offer. The BC coaching staff is top notch and the team chemistry is something I really liked as well. It also doesn’t hurt that there’s a Chipotle close to campus, and seeing that it’s a Colorado-based company, it’ll be like I have a part of home close by.”
Other school considered? I also considered Princeton, Johns Hopkins, and North Carolina.
What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “This season will be really interesting. We have a new coach this year, Brianne Tierney. She is our assistant varsity field hockey coach and is awesome. I’m really looking forward to seeing what her coaching style will bring to our program. We’re traveling to Philly over Spring Break for the first time, and it would be awesome to win some games on the East Coast. Our overall goal is to win the CHSSA 2013 State Championship.”
Thank yous: “I’d really like to thank my family for all the support they’ve given to me, and my twin brother, Matt, who’s committed to Army. I couldn’t have done it without them. I’d also like to thank Coach Dee Cryer, Coach Caroline Cryer, and Coach Kate Dresher who were instrumental during my recruiting process. I’d also like to say thank you to Coach Walker, Coach Kent, and Coach Frank for giving me the opportunity to play at Boston College and take my game to the next level.”
