Why did you choose the school? “I felt very at home with Jacksonville. The coaches are wonderful and I feel very safe there. Although I visited other colleges, I only visited one with recruitment in mind, that being Jacksonville. I had no other reason to keep looking. I fell in love with everything about Jacksonville and I could not picture myself anywhere else.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for 2013? “I think that we have a lot of talent on the team and we are looking forward to the season. We are going to spring training in Florida to learn how to get better on and off of the field. There is also a lot of talent in the Freshman class and I am beyond excited for my 3rd year with this team!”
Thank Yous: I would like to thank my Coach, Kathleen Lloyd, for introducing lacrosse to me in 5th grade and for pushing me to always do my best. She is like another mom and I will never forget the things she has done for me. I would also like to thank Coach Mindy McCord and Coach Paul McCord for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. Last but not least, I thank my Mom for all of the long early morning trips on Saturdays and Sundays to get to my practices and games. She was by best friend through all of the stress that recruiting brought and she will always be my number one supporter. Thank you and I love you all!”
