Freshman Hannah Warther scored off a feed from Haley Bordner in double overtime Friday as Century toppled C. Milton Wright, 10-9, in a Maryland Public Schools Athletic Association girls’ 3A-2A semifinal at Franklin.
Warther, who had four goals, moved the Knights (16-2) – ranked No. 15 by TopLaxRecruits.com – into the finals against No. 8 Marriotts Ridge at UMBC. The game will be held Tuesday or Wednesday.
Century had lost to No. 14 C.M. Wright (16-2), 11-7, early in the year.
C. Milton Wright held an early 4-1 lead and led for most of the second half, but Warther tied it, 8-8, with 1:22 to go in regulation.
C.M. Wright took a 9-8 lead in the first overtime on a goal by Lauren Haggerty (two goals), but Marissa Donoghue tied it with 17.7 seconds left in the period.
Kaitlan Moynihan had three goals for the Mustangs.

Zoe Stukenberg had five goals and three assists to lead the No. 8 Mustangs (17-1) into the finals to meet Century. In the 3A-2A finals.

The Falcons (14-5) advance to the finals in the Class 2A-1A division with the easy win. They will play today’s Fallston-Easton winner in the title game.
Boys
Glenelg 10, Kent Island 9
Glenelg (16-2) scored four goals in the final 3 minutes, advanced to the 3A-2A finals by rallying past the Buccaneers (14-2) at Annapolis, earning a date with five-time defending champion Hereford.
Kent Island had taken a 9-6 lead on consecutive goals by Patrick Garvey, the last with 3:30 to play.
But Kevin Coppinger, Christian Salandra and Nick Forrest, respectively, scored to tie the game and then Forrest won it with 22 seconds to play.
Hereford 15, Century 4
Jason Ashwood scored four goals and Jack Adams had a goal and four assists as the No. 18 Bulls (18-2) cruised at Franklin into the 3A-2A finals.
Century (11-8) was led Jack Rogness (two goals, one assist).
Fallston 22, Northwestern 5
The defending Class 2A-1A state champion Cougars (XXX) coasted into the finals with the easy win at Bel Air. Fallston will meet today’s Patterson Mill-Oakdale winner in the title game Tuesday or Wednesday.
Senior Kyle D’Onofrio had four goals and broke the school’s single-season scoring record with his 66th tally.
