Belen Jesuit and Tampa Jesuit led Florida to a sweep over two New York teams Friday in the 2013 Jesuit Lacrosse Classic that was televised by Bright House Sports Network.
In the opener, three goals from Jordi Fernandez helped Belen Jesuit (9-5) to a 7-6 win over McQuaid Jesuit (Rochester).
In the nightcap, Tampa Jesuit’s Jackson Parisey scored three goals and Ryan Brady added a pair as the jesuits claimed an win over Fordham Prep (Bronx).
Tampa Jesuit (10-5) scored seven unanswered goals the next seven tallies to take a 7-1 halftime lead. Noah Menendez, Jordan Suarez and Stephano Mastro all scored once for Tampa Jesuit.
Fordham Prep is 2-2. McQuaid is now 1-1.

JD Recor (Marist) had four goals and five assists while Connor Fields (Albany) added four goals and three assists and Adam Dimillo (Maryland) had two goals and three assists while Jackson Brown had 16 saves as the Tigers opened their season with an impressive victory in Boca Raton.
The Scots (12-3) had only lost to two teams from the MIAA.
