Why did you choose VMI? “I chose the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) because I believe that the new recruits are going to change the program for the greater good. After talking and meeting with Coach (Jon) Birsner multiple times it’s very clear to me that he has a vision to change this program and turn it into a very talented team that could win a championship I want to be a part of that and help his vision come true. School wise I believe VMI is the perfect choice of education for the degree field I would like to go into, Aerospace Engineering. They have very strong engineering programs and overall have a fantastic alumni.”
HS team’s outlook for 2017 season? “Looking toward the 2017 season I can already say Coppell is looking to fight for a chance. We have a really solid defense and that has been the case for a couple years now. All around, the team chemistry is fantastic and with that, all the guys are really connected and looking to achieve the same goal.”
Thank You: “I would like to thank most of all my parents for helping me with this process and always supporting me at my games each season. As well as, thank you to my high school coaches, Coach Dupree, Coach Mueller, and Coach Roberts for always improving my skills and pushing me to get better every year. With them I would also like to thank Coach Greg Gurenlian & Coach Andy Towers for improving my skills with every face-off camp I attended.
“Finally, I would like to give a huge thanks to my grandfather, after every game he would always text me to ask how the game went and would give me personal advise after a lost game, he’s truly my biggest fan.”
