9/29/23 – WEST CHESTER, PA
Standout 2025 attacker, Owen Mears, has decided to further his academic and athletic career at Duke University. While attending Malvern Prep High School, Mears has been a 3-year starter for the men’s lacrosse team, as well as earning the title of ‘New Balance All-American.’ Mears was on the Philly-Burn team for the All-American games this past Summer. Prior to his commitment to Duke, Mears played with Big 4 HHH Lacrosse Club.

Why did you choose Duke? – The academics, lacrosse program, and the social life mixed together. There’s no where else I’d rather be.” (Mears)
Who do you wish to thank? – “My mom and dad, dad especially. Coach Jim Schorn has been a huge help as well. Same with Coach Matt Mackrides.” (Mears)
