This access will drive recruiting exposure for players and peace of mind for families. College coaches can enjoy flexibility as they scout players for future recruiting classes. Live stream links will be shared with teams and coaches pre-event.
In addition, ConnectLAX partner clubs will receive free game film from one Ultimate Events’ tournaments each year. ConnectLAX recruits already receive unlimited, professional highlight videos, done in minutes with player isolation and zoom effect.
“We are thrilled to be offering this unique live streaming video service to all of our teams at all of our recruiting tournaments this summer and fall,” said Becky Wells of Ultimate Events & Sports.. “Many of our teams travel in from across the country, and this will allow family members and friends back home the opportunity to watch our athletes play.
“In addition, it also allows college coaches, no matter their geographic location, the ability to watch our athletes compete live and in real time.”
Said Gage Mersereau of ConnectLAX: “We’re excited for this ambitious undertaking, we’ve had thousands of families and coaches join our live streams this winter. We’re gearing up to extend this for tournaments as college coaches seek flexibility in scouting players and also privacy when viewing team film.”
ConnectLAX tools will enable teams to have their film cut up automatically this summer as well.
“This allows us to help our partner clubs get film to leverage our tools,” aid Mersereau. “When Michele DeJuliis and the Ultimate Lacrosse Club switched her club teams to us in 2016, we learned our video tools were a big driver of increased activity. We’re excited to amplify this process and save families time.”
Live stream and game film info will be shared with participating clubs in the coming months.
