North Cross School (VA) 2022 attackman/midfielder Zane Ratliff of VA Roughriders Lacrosse has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Virginia Military Institute.

Positions: Attack, Midfield

College committed to: Virginia Military Institute

Club teams: VA Roughriders Lacrosse, Valley Select Lacrosse

Lacrosse honors: Varsity player as an 8th grader; Varsity starter as a Freshman and Sophomore; 2019 VIC All-Tournament team; 2019 VIC 2nd Team All-Conference.

Academic honors: A-B honor roll during freshman and sophomore year; Straight A’s during spring trimester of sophomore year; Taking 2 AP’s during Junior year.

Expected major: Business

Why did you choose Virginia Military Institute, Men’s D1? “I chose the Virginia Military Institute because it is very close to home. I love the tradition and the energy around campus. I also love being apart of something that is bigger than yourself, and helps you with the tools to succeed in life.”

Is there anything else you would like to share? “I would like to my parents for all the opportunities that have provided me during my lacrosse career. I would also like to thank my coaches, friends, and teammates for pushing me to become the player that I am today.”
