What will you major in/study? Business
Why did you choose Rutgers? “I really liked all of the academic opportunities that Rutgers has to offer. They have an extensive alumni network that stretches throughout the country.
“I loved the big atmosphere that Rutgers has. Everyone in the athletic department is committed to making Big Ten sports a huge part of Rutgers. The coaches were really welcoming, and being apart of a major conference was important for me.”
Outlook for 2016 HS season? “Marist lost a huge senior class this past year. We lost a lot of leadership and talent that needs to be replaced, but I believe that we are poised to have another successful season.”
Thank You: “I would like to sincerely thank all of my teammates for all of their hard work. All of them have made me a better and more complete player. Special thanks to the defensemen Peyton Bogard, Adam Corby, Charlie King, Casey Perry, Kevin Coughlin, Matt McBryan, and Alex Venturino for pushing me in practice. Also a big thank you to my line-mates Jack Patton, Bailey Taylor, and Austin Hudson for catching all my passes.
“I would also like to thank Coach Kevin Hudson and Coach Mike Rabbitt for working us hard in summer practices; Coach Josh White for working with me to become the best attackman I can be.
“I also want to thank all of the Coaches at Marist. Shaun and Kevin Lux, Coach Mandy, and Coach Lou for all the hard work they put into games and practices every day.
“Lastly, I would like to thank all my family and friends for supporting me my whole life. Thank you to my parents, Mike and Karen Gallagher, for traveling with me and fully supporting me.
