Club roundup: Team Turnpike (NJ), Leading Edge (NJ), Dukes LC (PA) win at Best of the Best

Team Turnpike (N.J.) defeated the Dukes Lacrosse Club (PA), 4-3, to win the 2014 Division championship today at the National Invitational Best of the Best (BOB) Team Showcase in Uniondale, N.Y. today.

In the 2015 Division at BOB, Leading Edge (N.J.) toppled Twist Lacrosse (Pa.), 7-0. And in the 2016 Division, Dukes LC downed Team Minnesota, 6-5, a late goal by Adam Goldner (Malvern Prep).

The BOB, in its inaugural year, featured at least 20 elite club teams in each division.

Meanwhile, down at Boys’ Latin, Mike Drake scored the tying and winning goals as Dukes HHH rallied to defeat the Baltimore Crabs, 6-5 for the championship. The Dukes were down, 4-0 and later 5-1 before making their dramatic comeback.

In the NXT Cup at Episcopal academy (PA), FLG (N.Y.) edged Fever 2017 Orange (PA), 8-7, for the 8th Grade A Division championship.
