4/5/23 – Wethersfield, CT – 2024 Jake Carbone of Westminster School has committed to Bryant University after being an all-state midfielder at East Catholic High School before transferring. Carbone was also named first-team all-conference and has been to the state tournament as a freshman and a sophomore. In his first two high school seasons, the honor roll student recorded at least 200 points.

Why did you choose Bryant? – “I chose this school because it felt like a great fit academically as well as its high level lacrosse. It’s super high level and the America east is a competitive conference. All the guys on the team are super close, which made me feel confident in my decision. Lastly, Coach Ross and Coach Harrington were great through the whole process and they’re both people I’m excited to play for.”
Who do you wish to thank? – “I’d like to thank my club coaches, Coach Earl and Coach Dugan for giving me the opportunity to play for 2way and giving me the exposure I wouldn’t have gotten else where. I’d also like to thank Coach Curtis and Coach Crossby at Westminster for getting me there. Finally I’d like to thank my family for all their support.”
