Four regional tryouts will be held in January for boys’ lacrosse players (2015, 2016, 2017) in Florida for the Brine National Lacrosse Classic’s 2nd annual Pride of Florida showcase games.
The Brine NLC regional tryouts in Florida offer players the highest level of competition and exposure to the college admissions and athletic recruitment process while enabling student athletes to test and benchmark their lacrosse skills and athletic ability against the top players.
Twenty-five players demonstrating the highest level of potential will be selected to represent the Florida region from the 2014 Brine Pride of Florida games at the University of Tampa in a televised event, Sunday, May 18, 2014.
The 2014 Brine National Lacrosse Classic will be held at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds on July 1-3, 2014 where the team will compete for a national championship in front of NCAA lacrosse coaches from every division.
The 2017 players selected to play in the Pride of Florida will automatically qualify for selection and placement on the 2017 team at the Brine National Lacrosse Classic.

Players from this event will be selected to play in the inaugural Long Island Pride showcase games.
The Brine Pride of Long Island showcase games enable the top 25 players to qualify for selection to represent Long Island at the 2014 Brine National Lacrosse Classic in Maryland, June 30-July 3, 2014, where the team will compete for a national championship in front of NCAA lacrosse coaches from every division.
All 2017 players selected to play in the Pride of Long Island will automatically qualify for selection and placement on the 2017 Long Island team at the Brine National Lacrosse Classic.
