Boys’ recruit: Wyomissing (PA) senior defenseman Kroppe commits to McDaniel

Wyomissing (PA) senior defenseman William Kroppe has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at McDaniel College.

Position: Defense

College Choice: McDaniel College

Club Affiliation: Dukes Lacrosse, Blue Mountain Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors: First Team All County 2012 (Junior Year)

Academic Honors: Honor Roll

What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose McDaniel? “I chose McDaniel College because of the location and academics. McDaniel has a beautiful campus and I bonded very well with Coach (Matt) Hatton. The campus and academics are the main reason I chose McDaniel, but lacrosse is an added bonus.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We hope to go far this year. We have a bunch of spots left open by college bound athletes, with promising young guys to replace them.”
