St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) rising senior midfielder-face-off specialist Thomas Laupus has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Providence College.

Why did you choose school? “Providence is the perfect fit for me academically and athletically. It’s a great lacrosse program. The Providence campus and state of the art new facilities and coaching staff made the choice very easy and quick. The balance between lacrosse and academics is great. The academic support team is very knowledgeable and supportive. The Big East Conference lacrosse competition is going to be tops.”
Outlook for your high school team in 2014: “My team’s outlook for next year is very strong! We are working very hard to bring the Championship back home to St. Anthony’s High School. We have plenty of weapons and desire to win . Teamwork is our main goal for success next year.”
