What will you major in/study? “I am still undecided. Although, Syracuse’s Newhouse Communication School really appealed to me.”
Why did you choose Syracuse? “I have always wanted to go to a big school with a major Division 1 lacrosse program that was not too far from home and Syracuse was the perfect match. It’s proximity to home gives my family and friends more opportunities to come see me play. Also, The Newhouse Communications School at Syracuse really appealed to me and playing lacrosse at a top tier school has always been a dream of mine.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for the season? “We were a very young team last year, but made it to the Semi-Finals. This year, we return every single defender, but are still a Junior heavy team. We have a lot of talent and we are going to need the upcoming offensive players to step up. However, our goal is still the same every year, which is to win the Section.”
Thank You: “My biggest influences have been my coaches. Chris Watson and Mike McCall of the Westchester Predators and Brian and Scott Dooley at Rye High School. I learn something new every day in the spring at practice from Brian or Scott and over each summer I see myself getting better and better learning from Chris and Mike. All of my coaches had helped me tremendously throughout my long recruiting/commitment process.
“I also would like to thank my parents for the on going support and traveling they have done the past summers to numerous camps, showcases, and tournaments across the country just to get me some interest from schools.”
Other schools considered: Bucknell, Lehigh, Michigan, St. Joe’s, Colgate
