Redwood High School (CA) junior midfielder Liam Bourke has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Michigan.

Position: Defenseman/LSM
College Choice: University of Michigan
Club Affiliations: Alcatraz Outlaws, ADVNC
Major lacrosse honors: 2012 First Team All League, 2012 Maverick Showtime All-Star, 2012 Gait Cup All-Star Team, King of the Hill 2012.
What will you major in/study? Undecided at the moment, leaning towards pursuing Business.
Why did you choose UNC? “I’ve always wanted to go to a big school like Michigan. I’ve actually always loved watching Michigan Football and sports, so I always thought it would be awesome to go their because they have great school spirit and academics.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “My high school team is hoping to repeat as MCAL (league) Champions, and beyond that we have high hopes to win North Coast Sectionals (NCS). Last year we lost in the final four by one goal.”
