Providence Day School (NC) junior goalie Mitchell Renfrow has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the United States Air Force Academy.
Mitch Renfrow ledger:
High School: Providence Day School, Charlotte, North Carolina
Graduation Year: 2014
Position: Goalie
College Choice: U.S. Air Force Academy
Major lacrosse honors: All-Conference (Sophomore year), All-Star Team Brine Classic, 3d Blue Chip, Brine Underclassman All-American Tournament
Service: Students of Service, Fellowship of Christian Athletes
What will you major in/study? “I have a passion for Theology, but my main goal is just to serve anyway I can.”
Why did you choose Air Force? “I chose Air Force because I have deep love for my country, academics, and competitive collegiate lacrosse. In addition, the Academy also appealed to me because of their school motto being ‘Integrity First. Service Before Self. Excellence In All We Do.'”
Outlook for your H.S. team? “Our team is doing extremely well in NC with a 14-2 record we are predicted to be top competitors for the State Title. While only losing 3 seniors from last year, our 20 something current seniors dominate with their knowledge and leadership.”
Thank You: “I would like to thank my coach, Bobby Thompson for being with me since 5th grade and also my father for being my biggest fan on and off the field. Could not do anything without those two men.”
